DESCRIPTION:Come and garden with us! \nWe meet every Friday at 10:30 the Peace Garden. We’ll swarm out to work at several of our gardens\, depending of the tasks of that week. We always litter-pick as we go along. \nSessions last around 2 hours\, but you can give as little or as much time as you want. \nWe will provide you with the necessary tools and safety equipment for the gardening tasks. \nYou need to: \n\nbring your own gardening gloves if you can\nwear sensible footwear and dress for the weather\nthink about bringing a hat or applying sunscreen when it’s sunny\n\nSuitable for all ages and abilities. If you’re under 16 and are not with an organised group\, please contact us first. To sign up\, complete the registration form on our website – but we can help you do that on the day.

Over two sessions you’ll discover some of the fascinating history and hear stories about this historic part of Luton. We’ll also look at some of the town centre’s lost buildings and see how the railways separated High Town from the centre of Luton. We’ll even stray over the border into Round Green! \nPart one takes place on Friday 14 August and part two is on Friday 21 August. DESCRIPTION:Full House Theatre and The Culture Trust present: The Wonder Houses at Wardown. \nThis spring\, a brand-new family-friendly adventure awaits at Wardown House\, Museum & Gallery. Made in collaboration with Luton school children from William Austin Junior\, Beech Hill Community Primary\, Al Hikmah Girls School\, and Full House Theatre’s Home Education Network\, The Wonder Houses are a new\, permanent addition to the museum. \nThese amazing creations have been brought to life by six talented local artists; Anne-Marie Abate\, Dionne Ible\, Sarah Harrison\, Tamara Nkrumah\, Sophie Gresswell and Teakster\, showcasing a diverse range of visually stunning artforms. \nThere are six creative and colourful houses for families to seek out to delve deeper into the wonderful world of Wardown’s treasured collection. These exciting new installations offer families a fun and accessible way to explore and interact with Wardown Museum’s exhibits. \nYou can be the first to see The Wonder Houses at the launch-day celebration on Sunday 17th May. Join Full House Theatre and The Culture Trust for a perfect free day out for fascinated families and curious kids where you’ll discover The Wonder Houses\, meet the artists\, and enjoy arts and crafts activities and face painting. \nNo need to book\, just come along to Wardown House\, Museum & Gallery anytime from 11am-3pm and join the fun! \nThe Wonder Houses at Wardown is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players\, Full House Theatre and The Culture Trust have been able to launch this brand-new and exciting community collaboration project in Luton. \n
