DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Luton Nature Explorers: Summer Kids Club! \nJoin us for a fun-filled Wednesday morning or afternoon of outdoor adventures and nature crafts! This special summer programme continues the spirit of our popular Little Bugs and Wild Ed Primary clubs while they take a seasonal break. \nThese sessions are for children aged 3–10 and will involve different activities to choose from set up within the enclosed area of the Arboretum. \nSessions available: \nMorning session: 10:30-12:00 PM\nAfternoon session: 13:00-14:30 PM \nFor this special summer series\, we’re opening up both sessions to all age groups—ages 3 to 10—so families can attend together\, meet others\, welcome new mini-explorers\, and enjoy a variety of nature-based activities! Whether you’re a regular at Luton’s Little Bugs or Wild Ed Primary\, or completely new to our clubs\, everyone is welcome to join the fun. \nThese sessions are a fantastic way for children—and their grown-ups—to build confidence in the great outdoors while connecting with local green spaces in a relaxed\, playful setting. There will be a variety of engaging activity stations designed to keep children active\, curious\, and connected to nature. \nBooking is essential\, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. As we’ll be outside\, please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather and wears sturdy footwear. \nThanks to generous funding from the National Heritage Lottery Fund\, we’re delighted to offer subsidised pricing of just £4.00 per child (plus Eventbrite fee) for this summer’s sessions! \nPlease note\, bookings close 24 hours before the event and a minimum attendance of four paying children is required for the session to run. All booking fees will be refunded if we are not able to run. DESCRIPTION:LutonAid is back for 2026 and this year it will take place in two venues; The Bricklayers Arms (The Brickies) and The Castle Tavern (Castle Live). \nOnce again this is a fundraiser for Keech Hospice and will showcase some of the best local bands and acts from Luton and the surrounding areas. Performances at the Castle will included heavier rock and metal acts\, whilst the Brickies will favour acoustic\, rock and indie. \nJoining the varied line up are local artists Ryan Prazer\, Robbie Herrick and Miriam Daniel\, with bands The Sun Dog Collective\, Bigger Boat\, and headliners Lost Without Cause and Phonic Rapture at The Brickies. The Castle line up will include Silver Lake\, The Cadillac Saints\, Aspects and headliners Of Concrete Gods and Golfers. \nThe full line up of acts across each venue can be found on the LutonAid website. \nThose attending will be able to choose the bands they want to see and move between venues\, much like LAMA Crawl back in 2014 and Levels Festival in 2016\, both of which took place across 4 sites in Luton. \nLutonAid\, now in its 21st year\, is being held on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 August. Tickets are available to book now through DICE and cover entry to both the Bricklayers Arms and The Castle\, though the Castle is the only venue listed on the link. Funds raised will go to Keech Hospice. To date\, LutonAid has raised over 20k for Keech.

There will be a variety of engaging activity stations designed to keep children active\, curious\, and connected to nature. \nBooking is essential\, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Currently he has been touring the country with the “Wonder of Stevie” which drew an appreciative 500-strong crowd on the bandstand in 2024. Noel’s band on this occasion will include musicians who have played with Beyoncé\, James Brown\, Billy Ocean and Ed Sheeran. \nSupported by local DJ\, Niv Hammond.

It’s geared around preparing and cooking low-cost\, nutritious meals that families can enjoy eating together. \nWHERE: Memorial Park Community Garden / Allotments \nWHEN: Every Friday\, between 29 May until 17 July\, 10am – 12.30pm \n**********IMPORTANT************\n\nA commitment to attend each week is required\nYou must live in Luton to be eligible\n\nTo register your interest\, please reserve your spot\, and we will be in contact with you to confirm details and officially book you onto the course. A reservation does not automatically ensure a placement on the course. \nEach week will cover a different topic such as growing herbs and salad on the windowsill\, growing from leftovers and preparing and cooking food with young children. DESCRIPTION:Come and join us for a fun morning of exploration and discovery within the enclosed area of Wardown Park’s arboretum\, right next to the museum’s car park. \nThis group is for pre-school children (aged 3–5 years old) and focuses on outdoor play\, exploration\, and discovery. Sessions take place fortnightly on Thursday mornings and aim to build confidence in outdoor environments for both children and their guardians\, while encouraging a connection with local green spaces. \nEach session introduces a nature-inspired theme\, exploring a variety of topics such as animals\, habitats\, simple bushcraft skills\, and more. Enjoy nature-based crafts\, story time\, and plenty of outdoor play in this beautiful setting. \nAll of our sessions take place outdoors\, with no indoor space available. Please come dressed in suitable clothing and footwear for the weather. A drink and snack will be provided\, and families are very welcome to bring a packed lunch to enjoy after the session. \nThanks to generous funding from the National Heritage Lottery Fund\, we are able to offer subsidised pricing of £3.50 per child (+eventbrite fee). \nPlease note that bookings close 24 hours before the event\, and a minimum of four paying children is required for the session to run. If we are unable to run the session\, all booking fees will be fully refunded. Sessions may also be cancelled in cases of extreme weather\, such as heavy rain or high winds.
