DESCRIPTION:Come and garden with us! \nWe meet every Friday at 10:30 the Peace Garden. We’ll swarm out to work at several of our gardens\, depending of the tasks of that week. We always litter-pick as we go along. \nSessions last around 2 hours\, but you can give as little or as much time as you want. \nWe will provide you with the necessary tools and safety equipment for the gardening tasks. \nYou need to: \n\nbring your own gardening gloves if you can\nwear sensible footwear and dress for the weather\nthink about bringing a hat or applying sunscreen when it’s sunny\n\nSuitable for all ages and abilities. If you’re under 16 and are not with an organised group\, please contact us first. To sign up\, complete the registration form on our website – but we can help you do that on the day.

DESCRIPTION:A Walk in the Park is a programme of easily accessible walks for all ages running monthly in Luton (every first Wednesday of the month). \nA Walk in the Park provides an opportunity to: \n\nBoost your health and well-being whilst taking a short walk around a natural space and practice some mindfulness in nature.\nExplore green spaces in Luton.\nMeet like-minded people and make new friends.\n\nLearn about the natural world and opportunity to share your own knowledge or experiences. \nThe aim of the programme is to encourage exploration of scenic parks and green spaces right on your doorstep\, at the heart of Luton. \nThe walks will be led by staff of Wildlife Trust Bedfordshire and volunteers. \nAll ages welcome! \nWe will meet just outside the main entrance to Stockwood Discovery Centre and explore the surrounding gardens and green spaces together. \nAll ages welcome! \nPlease dress for the outdoors\, including suitable footwear for soft paths. \nAccessibility for this walk can be limited due to uneven and narrow paths through fields and woodland. However\, there are also areas with hard\, surfaced paths\, particularly around Stockwood Discovery Centre and Stockwood Park.\nPlease get in touch if you have any mobility concerns or questions about the walk. \nWe will meet by the main entrance to Stockwood Discovery Centre (London Road\, Luton LU1 4LX) for 2.00 PM start\, and return to initial meeting point for 3.30 PM. \nIf using What Three Words website or App then please use the following location ///defend.sports.poppy for the meeting point. \nFor any enquiries please contact Ieva on 07871 987381 or email: ieva.piraga@wildlifebcn.org \n*Please note\, this is a free well-being walk. DESCRIPTION:A Walk in the Park is a programme of easily accessible walks for all ages running monthly in Luton (every first Wednesday of the month). \nA Walk in the Park provides an opportunity to: \n\nBoost your health and well-being whilst taking a short walk around a natural space and practice some mindfulness in nature.\nExplore green spaces in Luton.\nMeet like-minded people and make new friends.\nLearn about the natural world and opportunity to share your own knowledge or experiences.\n\nThe aim of the programme is to encourage exploration of scenic parks and green spaces right on your doorstep\, at the heart of Luton.\nThe walks will be led by staff of Wildlife Trust Bedfordshire and volunteers. \nFor this walk we will meet outside the front of Bushmead Community Hub for 2.00pm and walk to Bradgers Hill. We will return to Bushmead Hub for 3.30 pm. \nAll ages welcome! \nPlease dress for the outdoors\, including suitable footwear for soft paths. \nAccessibility for this walk may be limited due to uneven and narrow paths\, as well as some steep inclines through fields and woodland.\nPlease get in touch if you have any mobility concerns or questions about the walk. \nThe walk will begin at 2:00 PM\, meeting outside Bushmead Community Hub (Hancock Drive\, Luton\, LU2 7SF)\, and will finish at the same location at 3:30 PM. \nIf using What Three Words website or App then please use the following location ///hands.encounter.brings for the meeting point. \nFor any enquiries please contact Ieva on 07871 987381 or email: ieva.piraga@wildlifebcn.org \n*Please note\, this is a free well-being walk. We’ll meet at the green flag near the community orchard on the Havelock Road side of the Park for 2pm start.
