DESCRIPTION:LutonAid is back for 2026 and this year it will take place in two venues; The Bricklayers Arms (The Brickies) and The Castle Tavern (Castle Live). \nOnce again this is a fundraiser for Keech Hospice and will showcase some of the best local bands and acts from Luton and the surrounding areas. Performances at the Castle will included heavier rock and metal acts\, whilst the Brickies will favour acoustic\, rock and indie. \nJoining the varied line up are local artists Ryan Prazer\, Robbie Herrick and Miriam Daniel\, with bands The Sun Dog Collective\, Bigger Boat\, and headliners Lost Without Cause and Phonic Rapture at The Brickies. The Castle line up will include Silver Lake\, The Cadillac Saints\, Aspects and headliners Of Concrete Gods and Golfers. \nThe full line up of acts across each venue can be found on the LutonAid website. \nThose attending will be able to choose the bands they want to see and move between venues\, much like LAMA Crawl back in 2014 and Levels Festival in 2016\, both of which took place across 4 sites in Luton. \nLutonAid\, now in its 21st year\, is being held on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 August. Tickets are available to book now through DICE and cover entry to both the Bricklayers Arms and The Castle\, though the Castle is the only venue listed on the link. Funds raised will go to Keech Hospice. To date\, LutonAid has raised over 20k for Keech.

People from our own town\, our own music scene\, and our own community coming together to create a proper good vibes day. \nThere’ll be live music\, BBQ\, cold drinks\, good company and hopefully a bit of sunshine as well. \nMore than anything\, I just want people to feel proud of Luton\, proud of local music\, and proud of what we can still do when we bring people together.

DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to join us at a series of FREE Sound Sessions at Marsh House designed for young people aged 16-25 local to Marsh Farm and Luton. \nJoin artist Simon James to learn how to use and experiment with specialist sound equipment. Make an original soundscape for Neolithic Cannibals. \nThe sessions will be slightly different from usual sound production workshops. It will be less about making beats and more about using natural sounds to create a soundscape of natural rhythms. \nThe sessions will run once a week from 16:30-19:00 at Marsh House from 20 July until 28 August. DESCRIPTION:LUTON TURKISH FESTIVAL 2026 \n\n\n\n Date: 28th June 2026\n Time: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM\n Location: Stockwood Park\, Luton\n\n\n\nThe Luton Turkish Festival is a much-loved annual event in the UK\, celebrating the rich culture\, traditions\, and values of Türkiye. Once again\, we are excited to welcome you for a joyful day full of culture\, food\, and community spirit.\n\n\n\nOrganised by the Luton Turkish Education and Culture Centre\, with the support of our sponsors\, TurkFest brings together people from all backgrounds to enjoy the colourful world of Turkish culture.\n\n\n\nThere is something for everyone to enjoy\, including:\n• Delicious Turkish food and regional specialities\n• Mehter band (Ottoman military band) performances\n• A traditional Oba tent showcasing Ottoman history\, beys\, and alps\n• Ottoman-style costumes\, handmade textiles\, and Ebru (marbling) art\n• Fun animation shows with children’s favourite characters\n• Turkish classical music\, including ney and oud performances\n• Live shows by traditional folk poets (âşıks)\n• Traditional Turkish folk dances\n• Live concerts by surprise guest artists\n• Hymns and theatre performances by children from our centre\n• Freshly made Turkish coffee and Turkish delight\n• Sweet and savoury treats like cotton candy\, paper halva\, bici bici\, corn\, and kumpir\n• Safe and fun play areas for children\n\n\n\nEvery year\, we welcome 5\,000 to 10\,000 visitors from Luton\, across the UK\, and from many different cultures.\n\n\nCome and join us for a wonderful day filled with music\, flavours\, fun\, and togetherness.
