DESCRIPTION:Join the Wildlife Trust staff for hands-on conservation work on one of Luton’s beautiful chalk hills – Warden Hill. \nThe Youth Rangers is a monthly programme for 12-17 year olds\, which enables those taking part to explore various nature reserves and green spaces\, to learn new skills and make new friends. \nFebruary Youth Rangers Meet-Up: Nature reserve management  \nJoin us for our February session at Warden Hill in Luton. We’ll be doing scrub management\, clearing glades of encroaching scrub and invasive species to help care for this rare chalk grassland habitat. \nWhat to expect: \n\nLight physical work (all tools and equipment provided)\nDrinks and snacks during the session\nA chance to learn new skills\, meet others\, and make a difference outdoors\nFairly steep slopes\, and slippery/muddy paths (weather depending). For any enquiries regarding accessibility\, please reach out to Ieva.\n\nMeeting point:  \nWe will meet at a car park by Links Way for 10:00 (What3Words://lost.rate.shield) and walk to the bottom of Warden Hill where the scrub work will take place.
