DESCRIPTION:A Walk in the Park is a programme of easily accessible walks for all ages running monthly in Luton (every first Wednesday of the month). \nA Walk in the Park provides an opportunity to: \n\nBoost your health and well-being whilst taking a short walk around a natural space and practice some mindfulness in nature.\nExplore green spaces in Luton.\nMeet like-minded people and make new friends.\n\nLearn about the natural world and opportunity to share your own knowledge or experiences. \nThe aim of the programme is to encourage exploration of scenic parks and green spaces right on your doorstep\, at the heart of Luton. \nThe walks will be led by staff of Wildlife Trust Bedfordshire and volunteers. \nAll ages welcome! \nWe will meet just outside the main entrance to Stockwood Discovery Centre and explore the surrounding gardens and green spaces together. \nAll ages welcome! \nPlease dress for the outdoors\, including suitable footwear for soft paths. \nAccessibility for this walk can be limited due to uneven and narrow paths through fields and woodland. However\, there are also areas with hard\, surfaced paths\, particularly around Stockwood Discovery Centre and Stockwood Park.\nPlease get in touch if you have any mobility concerns or questions about the walk. \nWe will meet by the main entrance to Stockwood Discovery Centre (London Road\, Luton LU1 4LX) for 2.00 PM start\, and return to initial meeting point for 3.30 PM. \nIf using What Three Words website or App then please use the following location ///defend.sports.poppy for the meeting point. \nFor any enquiries please contact Ieva on 07871 987381 or email: ieva.piraga@wildlifebcn.org \n*Please note\, this is a free well-being walk. DESCRIPTION:A Walk in the Park is a programme of easily accessible walks for all ages running monthly in Luton (every first Wednesday of the month). \nA Walk in the Park provides an opportunity to: \n\nBoost your health and well-being whilst taking a short walk around a natural space and practice some mindfulness in nature.\nExplore green spaces in Luton.\nMeet like-minded people and make new friends.\n\nLearn about the natural world and opportunity to share your own knowledge or experiences. \nThe aim of the programme is to encourage exploration of scenic parks and green spaces right on your doorstep\, at the heart of Luton.\nThe walks will be led by staff of Wildlife Trust Bedfordshire and volunteers. \nJoin us for a refreshing walk through Luton’s beautiful People’s Park\, as we round off this year’s programme with our final walk. \nAll ages welcome! \nPlease dress for the outdoors\, including suitable footwear for soft paths. \nThe accessibility at People’s Park can be limited due to uneven/ steep paths. Please get in touch if you have any mobility concerns or questions about the walk. \nPeople’s Park is a large park with several entrances. We’ll meet at the green flag near the community orchard on the Havelock Road side of the Park for 2pm start. You’ll find the flag post along the diagonal path across the park between Kingston Road and Havelock Road/corner of Clarendon Road. \nIf using What Three Words website or App then please use the following location ///brass.served.kicked for the meeting point. \nThere is a small car park off Havelock Road by the playground.
