DESCRIPTION:Picnic in the Park is happening again this year on Wednesday 12 June from 10am to 2pm at Wardown Park. \nThis year\, the theme is Family Learning is Fun! \nBring a picnic and.. \n\ntake part in fun\, free activities\nget activity ideas to do at home with your child\nmeet the emergency services\nlisten to storytelling with the library\nenjoy fun entertainment\nlearn about local childcare and family support services\n\nThere will be stalls with goodies to give away and lots of fun for children up to 5 years \nFamily Hubs will also be launching the new Luton Family Hubs digital app and website to help you find all the services and support available to you in one place\, from planning a pregnancy through childhood to adulthood. We will be asking families to have a look at the app and to provide feedback to make sure that we’ve got it right before we go fully live at the end of June. \nEvent Guidance: \n\nParents are responsible for their own children on site.\nWristbands for children are handed out at the event and are available from the Alliance marquee.\nParking restrictions will be in place on the day- the event car park is in Popes Meadow\, Old Bedford Road\, at a cost of £2 per vehicle. Traffic Wardens will regularly check the area and will issue fines for inappropriate parking. No parking will be permitted in Wardown Park.\nPlease do not litter in the park! Please show children how to responsibly dispose of rubbish. We’ve been having fun naming some of the pumpkins that will star in our forthcoming family fundraising event\, The Music24 Charity Pumpkin Trail!  In time for Halloween festivities and half term holidays\, the search for our pumpkin characters will takes place at Wardown Park\, Luton on Sunday 29th October\, 10am – 12pm. \nTo take part in the fun\, dress in your favourite Halloween fancy dress costume (optional) and join us at the Bandstand where registration trail forms to take part in the trail\, pencils and maps will be available in exchange for a suggested donation of £3 per person\, or pay as you feel.  Seek all the hidden pumpkins in order to be entered into our Prize Draw to win a Hamper full of delicious goodies! \nThe Pumpkin Trail opens at 10am and closes at 12pm. Toilets and light refreshments are available at Wardown House Cafe\, a short walk from the bandstand and car parks.
