Become a Luton Rising Festival Maker
Be part of Luton’s biggest celebration as a Festival Maker, supporting Party in the Park (12 September) and Proms in the Park (13 September 2026) at Stockwood Park.
Join a friendly team helping to welcome visitors, support activities, and keep the event running smoothly as thousands come together to celebrate Luton’s 150th anniversary.
Roles include:
- Event stewards and marshals
- Welcome and information volunteers
- Wayfinding and activity support
- Accessibility and specialist roles
- Set-up and take-down crews
Training and support
All volunteers will receive training and briefings to help you feel confident in your role. This includes guidance on customer service, event safety and your specific responsibilities, with additional role-specific or specialist training where required. You’ll also receive a full briefing ahead of the event and on-the-day support from the coordination team.
No experience is needed—just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved. You’ll gain new skills, build confidence, and be part of an unforgettable community event.
We also warmly welcome returning volunteers who have previously supported our events and would encourage you to sign up again and be part of this special celebration.
