SUMMARY:A Walk in the Park - Bradgers Hill
DESCRIPTION:A Walk in the Park is a programme of easily accessible walks for all ages running monthly in Luton (every first Wednesday of the month). \nA Walk in the Park provides an opportunity to: \n\nBoost your health and well-being whilst taking a short walk around a natural space and practice some mindfulness in nature.\nExplore green spaces in Luton.\nMeet like-minded people and make new friends.\nLearn about the natural world and opportunity to share your own knowledge or experiences.\n\nThe aim of the programme is to encourage exploration of scenic parks and green spaces right on your doorstep\, at the heart of Luton.\nThe walks will be led by staff of Wildlife Trust Bedfordshire and volunteers. \nFor this walk we will meet outside the front of Bushmead Community Hub for 2.00pm and walk to Bradgers Hill. We will return to Bushmead Hub for 3.30 pm. \nAll ages welcome! \nPlease dress for the outdoors\, including suitable footwear for soft paths. \nAccessibility for this walk may be limited due to uneven and narrow paths\, as well as some steep inclines through fields and woodland.\nPlease get in touch if you have any mobility concerns or questions about the walk. \nThe walk will begin at 2:00 PM\, meeting outside Bushmead Community Hub (Hancock Drive\, Luton\, LU2 7SF)\, and will finish at the same location at 3:30 PM. \nIf using What Three Words website or App then please use the following location ///hands.encounter.brings for the meeting point. \nFor any enquiries please contact Ieva on 07871 987381 or email: ieva.piraga@wildlifebcn.org \n*Please note\, this is a free well-being walk. Only reserve a place if you intend on joining the walk as these walks are very popular and there are limited spaces available. If you are unable to attend the walk after booking\, please do cancel your ticket to give other people a chance to reserve a space. \n** If you wish to make a block booking for more than 4 individuals for the upcoming walk\, please contact Ieva on ieva.piraga@wildlifebcn.org.uk. \n***In case of extreme weather\, the walk may be cancelled. If this happens at short notice\, participants will be notified by email. We aim to run walks whenever possible and will only cancel if conditions pose a risk.
