DESCRIPTION:A Walk in the Park is a programme of easily accessible walks for all ages running monthly in Luton (every first Wednesday of the month). \nA Walk in the Park provides an opportunity to: \n\nBoost your health and well-being whilst taking a short walk around a natural space and practice some mindfulness in nature.\nExplore green spaces in Luton.\nMeet like-minded people and make new friends.\n\nLearn about the natural world and opportunity to share your own knowledge or experiences. \nThe aim of the programme is to encourage exploration of scenic parks and green spaces right on your doorstep\, at the heart of Luton.\nThe walks will be led by staff of Wildlife Trust Bedfordshire and volunteers. \nAll ages welcome! \nJoin us for a walk at Stopsley Common and Hay Wood.  \nWe’ll meet at 2:00pm just outside the main entrance of Inspire\, before setting off on a gentle circular walk to explore the signs of spring along the way. Our route will take us across Stopsley Common\, into the ancient woodland of Hay Wood where we hope to spot bluebells\, and on to the far end of the Common near Bradgers Hill. We’ll then turn back and finish the walk for 3:30pm. \nIf using What Three Words website or App then please use the following location ///safely.quarrel.cape for the meeting point. \nThere is a car park outside Inspire: Luton Sports Village where you can park free of charge for first 4 hours. \nPlease dress for the outdoors\, including suitable footwear for soft paths. \nThe accessibility at Stopsley Common can be limited due to uneven/muddy paths and some steep slopes along the way. DESCRIPTION:Join us for November’s Walk in the Park to explore the countryside North of Luton and find out more about the migrating birds that pass through here every year. \nMeet at the Inspire Sports Village entrance before we set to explore Stopsley Common and the nearby countryside. \nExpect some inclines in this walk but of course this will allow us to enjoy spectacular views. \nLocal bird watcher Stuart Winter will help guide this walk and inform us about what birds can be spotted at this time of year but this is also another chance to simply explore one of Luton’s beautiful green spaces and take some time out to enjoy being in nature and meeting other people.
