Join Penrose Roots volunteers for this practical workshop and learn some simple wood carving and whittling techniques!

Based within the green and pleasant site of Penrose Roots to Recovery garden, local green wood worker, Dave Yule will guide those attending in trying out some simple wood carving techniques. With a fire going and hot drinks available this really will be a relaxing afternoon and a chance to learn a new skill.

Tools, refreshments and gloves will be provided to all those attending. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear, no experience is required just some enthusiasm and willingness to join in. Staff are on hand throughout the session and do contact us before this event if you have any queries.
