Bute Mills is an Edwardian steam mill in the heart of Luton that underwent a transformation in 2015 to become an award-winning youth centre. Tour the building and see both the signs of its previous life and the current creative interior.

Over the years Bute Mills has been a flour mill, hat factory and even a fertiliser plant and an ad agency, before falling into disrepair. In 2015, a £2.4 million refurbishment saw it transform into a youth centre for the community in Luton – and home to a local charity, Youthscape. Inside there are fascinating signs of its previous uses, but the creativity and sensitivity of its latest refurbishment has also drawn architectural awards and acclaim. Take a tour and see inside this iconic Luton landmark.
