Come and experience the joy of singing in a choir. It’s great fun, uplifting and excellent for your physical and mental health.
There will be a focus on diversity and inclusion at the event, so everyone is invited from all communities in and around Luton. No experience is necessary – we will provide the music and we will have fun learning a variety of pieces under the help and direction of our conductor, Crispin Lewis, and also learn a little more about diversity and inclusion in the musical arts.
There is no pressure to achieve perfection, so do come along and have some fun.
We will be learning a variety of popular choral pieces from both western and eastern european traditions, including –
- Barber: Agnus Dei (as used in ‘Platoon’)
- Mozart: Laudate Dominum
- Whitacre: Animal Crackers
- Klonowski: Gaude Mater Polonia
- All I have to do is Dream
- Somethin’ Stupid
Please bring your own packed lunch – we will be providing teas and coffees.
So we can cater for everyone please email membership@lutonchoralsociety.org.uk if you would like to come.
