John Bramwell, lead singer and songwriter of the seminal band I Am Kloot, is enjoying his grandest year to date, with an outpouring of acclaim following the release of his second solo album, The Light Fantastic.
The album was listed as one of The Times’ unmissable albums of 2024, reached number 3 in the Official Folk Albums Chart, and number 1 in the Apple Music Singer-Songwriter Chart.
As the singer in I Am Kloot, John achieved a Mercury Prize nomination for 2010’s The Sky at Night, a Top 10 chart position for 2013’s Let It All In, numerous UK and European tours, and a triumphant farewell performance at the Queen Elizabeth Hall with an orchestra in 2014.
Now, as a solo artist, he’s traveling a very different path, and his stunning new album represents almost a complete U-turn from his Kloot days. As John puts it, “It’s been great to find the joy of making music once again. These are the most uplifting songs of my career.”
This will be an intimate evening in the company of one of the country’s finest songwriters. Not to be missed.
