Our Tuesday evening dance classes are led by locally-based instructors Victoria Celac and Greg Santos. Together, they have over ten years of experience in dance and teaching.
Each night kicks off with a free 30-minute beginner session. This is followed by a full salsa and bachata class, catering to both beginners and improvers. We end the night with a social dancing session, featuring merengue, kizomba, and cha-cha-cha. This is the perfect opportunity to practice your moves, socialise, and generally have a great time!
Salsa is an energetic dance from the Caribbean, blending Afro-Cuban rhythms with jazz and Latin sounds. Known for its lively footwork and vibrant beats, it’s a dance full of rhythm and energy.
Bachata, from the Dominican Republic, is slower and more intimate, featuring sensual hip movements, close partner connections, and romantic guitar-driven melodies. Both dances are loved worldwide for their passion and style!
These classes are for people of all levels and abilities, and absolute beginners are welcome too. Come to learn, come to meet friends, but above all, come to have fun!
