Come and visit the recently restored Council Chambers which sit at the heart of Luton’s Grade II Listed Town Hall
Officially opened by the Duke of Kent in 1939, the building was designed by Bradshaw Gass & Hope from Bolton with a neoclassical style design incorporating Art Deco features.
Attendees on the day will enjoy a tour of rooms seldomly open to the public. They will also be offered a rare chance to view the town’s collection of silverware, the Mayoral Chains of Office and Luton’s visitor book, which includes signatures of notable guests including Queen Elizabeth II, Winston Churchill and even The Beatles.
