Month 2 of the NEXT Open Deck night is alone us and we’re really looking forward to seeing who turns up this month.
Last month gave us Breakbeat to House, and Trance to Liquid Drum n Bass.
What’s in store for us all this month is the question.. And is my mate playing, and if not why not?
Even I don’t know!
The George II in Bute Street will be hosting “NEXT” which is open to any DJ playing any style of dance music.
Registration on the night opens at 7pm, first come first on.
The format that will be used is Digital, and the controller being used will be pioneer DJRX. All DJs can use what is provided, or bring their own decks/controller.
This is a free event and now provides a brand new platform for all the up and coming DJ talent in the UK.
There will be a “clap o meter” aimed at the dance-floor, and the DJ that gets the highest reading goes through to the semifinals.
The winner of each evening’s event will get a DJ set @ RESET.
The overall winner of the whole competition will receive:
A DJ set at this year’s Up n Comers Awards
A Epidemik VIP behind the scenes Package
A Vinyl Revelations VIP behind the scenes Package
8 till late + Good drink prices, happy welcoming staff, and smiling positive security, and free entry all night.
