Story Outline:

After several failed attempts to find confidence in herself and her disability, Pamela must muster up the strength and courage to walk in the heels she’s always dreamed of walking in whilst also overcoming the cultural norm that disability can’t be attractive. During this internal battle, she encounters love with a long-time friend who sees her as perfect and complete. He invites her and her playboy-wannabe brother out to an event he’s hosting. Will she choose the shoes she’s always wanted to wear or will she stay in her comfort zone and hide her feet away?

This stellar and powerful film tells the story of overcoming many insecurities we all may face. It gives homage to what true representation looks like and defies the odds set against you whilst also celebrating reggae in its wonder!

In a fusion and twist of the Cinderella story and Steve McQueen’s Lover’s Rock, we see two disabled characters platformed and presented accurately and with dignity.

It shows the beauty of faith and the having community.

This film is filled with reggae music and plenty of vibes.

The film has a run time of 15 mins and there will be a 20 min post-screening Q&A with the writer and some other local disabled groups.
