This St George’s Day prepare for a day of action and adventure, with the History Knights in Wardown Park.
- Test your skills at the crossbows
- Mount your steed in our hobby horse races
- Test your nerves in our family joust and inflatable sword tournament
- Try on your knight and princess outfits
- Head off on a dragon quest whilst our medieval musicians and storytellers enchant and entertain
- Take part in medieval world activities, delivered by the History Knights team.
With play tables, craft activities and archaeology trays, whatever your age there’s free fun for everyone!

- Medieval herbs and plants with Bedfordshire Wildlife Trust hosting a touch and smell table/exhibition – learn about our natural environment and how herbs and plants were used as medicines, foods and dyes
