Join Luton’s own History Knights team as they bring their popular Medieval World Family Activities to St Mary’s as part of the Church’s Heritage Open Week. Alongside their free hands-on history adventures, there will also be an exclusive preview exhibition of Stolen History: The Search For Luton’s Medieval Past.
The exhibition will be the first public sharing of their research into the characters and places that shaped the towns medieval past. Their team will be on hand to share some of their discoveries and offer you the chance to find out how you can become involved in their research The grounds will feature a range of free activities inspired by Medieval England.
You can test your skills at the crossbows, mount your steed in our hobby horse races or test your nerves in our family joust and inflatable sword tournament. Why not try on your knights and princess outfits or see if you have the strength to wear a suit of armour?
