The project of Jessica Baker, ugly ozo delivers raw, confessional indie rock inspired by The Breeders, Wolf Alice and NewDad. Her music blends fuzzed-out melodies with brutally honest lyrics, capturing the anxious, confrontational edges of the female experience.
Following acclaimed singles madonna, sink or swim, onto a winner and cherry, plus a recent Dope Lemon tour support, ugly ozo has earned praise from BBC 6 Music, Radio X, KEXP and leading indie press. Supports TBA.
