Spring Selfie Globe

Kick off your half-term at The Mall and stop by Central Square from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 24th February to snap your very own selfie, celebrating the joys of spring and the return of warmer weather.

The vibrant floral backdrop and multi-coloured confetti globe promise a picture-perfect moment. Have fun playing and dancing in the confetti while capturing some free family-fun memories, thanks to The Mall and Luton BID.

Luton Flying High Arts & Crafts

Tuesday 20th – Friday 23rd February | 10am – 4pm | The Mall, Luton

The Mall is buzzing with creativity and fun this February half term! They’ll be keeping the whole family entertained with FREE carnival-themed arts and crafts workshops, in an exciting partnership with the UK Centre for Carnival Arts.

Little artists can make aviation-inspired costumes, props and creations – bringing to life the theme “Luton Flying High”, which ties in with this year’s colourful Luton International Carnival. There’s going to be 4 days jam-packed with costumes and creativity from Tuesday 20th to Friday 23rd February, 10am-4pm daily.

Imagination Station

Monday 19th – Friday 23rd February | 10.30am – 3pm | The Hat Factory

Feb Fest is back this half-term bringing back the return of ‘The Imagination Station’ – a free drop-in space for children and young people of all ages to take part in creative arts activities.

Stockwood Discovery Centre

Wednesday – Sunday | 10am – 4pm | Stockwood Discovery Centre

Looking for a day out for the whole family? Look no further than Stockwood Discovery Centre. With captivating gardens, a children’s play area, interactive exhibitions, and the largest carriage collection in Europe, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Plus, admission is totally free! So why not make a day of it and explore Stockwood Park too? It’s been awarded the Green Flag, so you know it’s one of Luton’s best!

Luton Junior Parkun

Every Sunday | 9am | Wardown Park

Junior Parkrun is a fantastic way to get the kids active this half-term. This free, timed 2k run is open to children ages 4-14 years and takes place in the beautiful surroundings of Wardown Park.

Children of all abilities are encouraged to take part and run, jog or walk the course. Parents are welcome to join in too! It’s a great way to make new friends while improving fitness. Just be sure to register before you attend.

Real Play

Every Tuesday | 4.30pm – 5pm | Luton Central Library

Join your local library for ‘Real Play’ sessions, where families can have fun, play and learn together – for free! Learn together through creative and physical activity play with games such as board games, ball games and stories. No need to worry about booking in advance, just drop by and let the fun begin.

Don’t forget, you can also take the excitement home with you by borrowing the exclusive Real Play boxes from any Luton Library. Each pack is bursting with goodies, including a dynamic physical activity board game, adventure-packed activity books, sports essentials like balls and cones, and Mini Challenge Cards loaded with over 100 progressive challenges to keep the fun going at home.

Family Film Club: Strange World

Saturday 24th February | 10.30am | The Hat Factory

If you want to stay cosy this half-term but still have fun, the Family Film Club has you covered. On the 24th of February, catch the screening of Strange World for an action-packed comedy adventure. So grab some popcorn, and enjoy a fun, family-friendly movie outing. There’s also snacks, milkshakes, and more available at the Hat Factory café.

Palaver Party

Saturday 25th February | 2pm – 3.30pm | Hat Factory Arts Centre

Children aged three to eight years old can also get in on the fun over the half term this month at the Palaver Party. Get ready an inclusive family disco with music, performances, DIY costume-making, party games, sing-a-longs, glitter, and a rainbow disco for all the family.

Monday 12th – Friday 23rd February | Ten Pin, The Galaxy

It’s time to round up the troops and bring out the big guns with Ten Pin’s half-term deals.
