The competition is organised by Step Forward Luton and is open to all individuals, regardless of country of residence, except employees and immediate family members of Step Forward Luton.
By participating in the competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The competition commences on 27 May 2024 and closes at 11:59 pm on 23 August 2024, hereinafter referred to as “the competition period.” Entries received after the competition period will not be considered.
To enter the competition, participants complete the short form and suggest a name for the flamingo character.
One entry per person is allowed.
The 1st prize for the competition is a £100 Smyths Toy Gift Card.
A winner will be selected from all eligible entries received during the competition period and selected by The Step Forward Luton Ambassadors. The draw will take place within 7 days after the closing date. The chosen name will be announced at a flamingo storytelling session on Friday 30 August 2024 at Hat Gardens. The flamingo character will return each summer to help promote the free summer events and activities in the Luton town centre.
The winner will be notified by email within 7 days after the draw. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, Step Forward Luton reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
The prize is non-transferable, and no cash or alternative prizes will be offered.
Step Forward Luton reserves the right to disqualify any entry or entrant who breaches these terms and conditions, provides false information, or engages in any misconduct that may compromise the integrity of the competition.
Step Forward Luton reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the competition or these terms and conditions at any time, with or without notice, for any reason outside its control.
By participating in the competition, entrants agree to grant Step Forward Luton the right to use their name, likeness, and submitted materials for promotional purposes related to the competition or future events.
Step Forward Luton assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, arising from participation in the competition or acceptance or use of the prize.
Any personal data provided by participants will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
