Pumpkin Patch at Hat Gardens

This half term, Hat Gardens is being transformed into a pumpkin patch. If you need to get the kids out of the house for a free day out, then look no further.

Kids under 12-years old will love wheeling around mini barrows to pick their perfect pumpkin to take home with them, as well as colouring activities for the little ones.

Spooky Storytelling on the Steps at Hat Gardens

29th October | shows at 2pm and 3pm | Hat Gardens

If you enjoyed the enchanting tales in Hat Gardens in the summer, then how about some spooky storytelling?

Head to Hat Gardens for spooky tales from A Children’s Story this half-term, featuring the black cat puppet, dancing, and ghoulish games.

Young visitors who arrive in fancy dress will be treated to a small treat, while supplies last.

Halloween Beer Festival

Thursday 31st October – Monday 4th November | 3pm – 10:30pm | Bricklayer’s Arms

Adults beware! The Brickies is promising a frighteningly good selection of seasonal beers at The Brickies for a Halloween beer festival, with seasonal beers from 8 Sail, Brewery, Elgoods Brewery, Moorhouse’s Brewery and Penine Brewery.

If sampling seasonal beers is for you, be sure to pop in for a taste over the weekend.
