From 12 to 21 September, there’s a heap of free events in Luton all celebrating one thing: our heritage. These events are put on specially for Heritage Open Days, and some of these places aren’t usually open to the public, so now is your chance to snap up the opportunity and peek in places like the Town Hall during a guided tour, or St Mary’s Church tower!

Discover all sorts of interesting tales from our past, from the history of the boating lake during the Wardown Park Heritage Walk, to real stories at the Memories of Vauxhall Factory Floor exhibit. Join local history whiz Paul Hammond on a walk around High Town or take yourself on a solo date to a hat exhibition in the Hat District.
