Luton Rising presents Party in the Park and Proms in the Park are taking place at Stockwood Park, Luton, LU1 4LX.

When planning your journey to these events, we strongly urge visitors to use public transport as traffic congestion is expected on all major roads in and around Luton. Luton central train station is the closest station train station to access Stockwood Park.

There is a limited amount of official event parking at Stockwood Park for both events. To access the car park, you need to have purchased the car parking add-on with your ticket. There is a maximum of 1 parking space per order.

The car park will be located at Stockwood Park, and event stewards will direct you to the best place to park.

Accessible ticket holders will be able to park in the accessible parking spaces at no extra cost. You will not need to show a Blue Badge or other documentation related your access needs, but you may be asked to show your accessible ticket.

Stockwood Park is approximately 1.5 miles from Luton Railway Station and there will be friendly local people to greet you and direct you along the way. Please check the National Rail website for train services.

Luton Railway station does not has step free access. Please see Accessible Travel Guide for details on step free access rail travel.

If you are planning on travelling to the event via train, please check the time of your last train home from Luton Railway Station. Allow plenty of time to get to and from the station, as Thameslink and East Midland Railway expect services to be busy across the network over the weekend.

We recommend that customers with Access requirements travel to Luton Airport Parkway Station as this station has step free access to all platforms. Luton Railway station is a category B3 station: Step free access via lift to platform 5 only (some trains to Bedford/ the East Midlands) only. Steps to all other platforms.

Stockwood Park is just over 1 mile from Luton Town Centre.

Walking routes from the town centre to the event entrances will be via Farley Hill Road and Cutenhoe Road both of which take you into Stockwood Park. There will be plenty of local friendly faces to greet you with a smile and direct you along the way.

The event site is located at the top of a hill.

The cycle route from the town centre is via London Road and there will be a free bike parks located at Green Gate at the main entrance and Red Gate next to the Rugby Club. Cyclists should bring their own padlocks and all belongings left will be at the owners own risk.

Please stick to the above approved cycle routes as there will be a road closure on Farley Hill Road and Cutenhoe Road.

There may be road closures of restriction in place to help festival goers get to the event safely. These haven’t been confirmed just yet, and we’ll update this page with more information as soon as we get it.
