Today marks a new era for our town centre. The Mall Luton, a familiar name for over 17 years, will officially become Luton Point.

It’s a change we’ve seen coming, with new signs popping up over the past few months.

But why Luton Point? It’s all about location. The name highlights the centre’s spot right in the middle of town, where we all meet up, shop, and spend time together.

From today, you’ll see the new name and logo everywhere – inside, outside, and online. Their website’s getting an upgrade too, with translations in Urdu, Polish, and Romanian. It’s a nice touch that shows they’re thinking about more residents who call Luton home.

Roy Greening, the Centre Director, promises we’ll still get the same warm welcome and great shops we’re used to. He’s excited about what’s coming up – new brands, community projects, and charity work.

Our shopping centre’s new look is just another sign that things are looking up for our town centre. With the Hat Gardens pocket park opening last year and the Bute Street development on its way, there’s a real sense of change happening.

It’s exciting to see new shops on their way in the centre too. Work is already happening in the former Debenhams store, promising to bring a number of exciting new Fraser Group brands to Luton.

Congratulations to the centre team on this exciting new chapter – we can’t wait to see what the future holds for Luton Point!
