Hidden between Bramingham and Marsh Farm, Bramingham Wood is a bit of ancient woodland right here in Luton. And a great spot to get away from the hustle and bustle.
Come spring, it’s famous for its bluebells. The Woodland Trust even rates it as one of the top ten bluebell woods in the UK. Pop by between mid-April and early June to catch them at their best.
Fun fact: The wood’s got some rare fungi you won’t find anywhere else in Britain.
Whether you’re interested in nature, after a quiet walk, or simply want to explore more of Luton’s green spaces, Bramingham Wood is worth a visit any time of year.
