Luton Hoo Memorial Park is a cherished tribute to the past, providing a serene and picturesque destination that honours the memory of those who served in the armed forces, offering a tranquil setting for reflection and remembrance.

The park was presented to the people of Luton on 12th June 1920 by Lady Ludlow, the previous owner of the Luton Hoo estate, in memory of her son, who was killed in action during World War I.

Lady Ludlow unveiled the war memorial to her son, which is located in a central position in the park, at a ceremony on 10th December 1922 and the space was officially named Luton Hoo Memorial Park.
