The competition is organised by Step Forward Luton and is open to all individuals, regardless of country of residence, except employees and immediate family members of Step Forward Luton.
By participating in the competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The competition commences on 6 July 2024 and closes at 11:59 pm on 12 September 2024, hereinafter referred to as “the competition period.” Entries received after the competition period will not be considered.
To enter the competition, participants must complete the short form.
One entry per person is allowed.
Each person can win one prize only.
The prizes for the competition are as follows: Top prize: 15 winners will enjoy an exclusive tortoise and hare-themed storytelling party at Brown’s Books in Luton. The children’s storytelling party is for ages 12 and under. Runner-up prizes: 10 runners-up will each receive a children’s book courtesy of Brown’s Books.
The storytelling party will be held on a fixed date to be confirmed in the autumn. If you cannot attend the date given, there will be no alternative prize provided. However, tickets can be transferred to a friend or family member. They must not be sold.
Books must be collected in person from Brown’s Books, High Town. Books have been provided by Brown’s Books and they will determine which books are prizes.
Winners will be randomly generated from all eligible entries received during the competition period.
Winners will be notified by email within 28 days after the selection. If a winner does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, Step Forward Luton reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
The prizes are non-transferable (except for storytelling party tickets as specified above), and no cash or alternative prizes will be offered.
Step Forward Luton reserves the right to disqualify any entry or entrant who breaches these terms and conditions, provides false information, or engages in any misconduct that may compromise the integrity of the competition.
Step Forward Luton reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the competition or these terms and conditions at any time, with or without notice, for any reason outside its control.
By participating in the competition, entrants agree to grant Step Forward Luton the right to use their name, likeness, and submitted materials for promotional purposes related to the competition or future events.
Step Forward Luton assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, arising from participation in the competition or acceptance or use of the prizes.
Any personal data provided by participants will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
