Luton town centre is shining a little brighter this month as a stunning Ramadan light fixture transforms Hat Gardens into a celebration of the holy month.

If you’ve been anywhere near Hat Gardens on Bute Street lately, you can’t miss the eye-catching light display that’s got everyone reaching for their phones. It’s become the town’s go-to selfie spot, with locals from all backgrounds stopping by to grab a snap during Ramadan.

It’s all thanks to Luton BID – where town centre shops, cafes and businesses chip in together to make to make the town centre a better place for everyone. This Ramadan light show is just their latest bright idea to get more people enjoying what the town centre has to offer. Luton BID have worked in collaboration with Colours of Eid to continue on their fantastic community work ‘Spread the Light’ who first brought Ramadan Lights to Luton last year.

ALIF New Beginnings and Colours of Eid Festival have worked with Luton BID to bring a wonderful Ramadan lights display to Luton for a second year in a row and they will be working throughout the year to bring a bigger display next year.

Why not head into town for some shopping or food, and take a moment to visit the lights while you’re there?

The installation will remain in Hat Gardens until the end of Ramadan, giving everyone plenty of time to visit and capture their own magical moment under the lights.
