Halloween 2025 is just around the corner and we’ve got lots of autumnal things to do right here in Luton. There’s returning favourites in the pumpkin patch and storytelling shows, Halloween nights out and plenty more scarily good goings on this half-term.

Pumpkin Patch in Hat Gardens

Wednesday 29 October | 11am to 4pm | Hat Gardens, Bute Street

Our pumpkin patch was a hit last Halloween and we’re super excited to be bringing it back to Hat Gardens this year – bigger and better than ever.

Kids can grab a mini wheelbarrow, get their face painted and pick their perfect pumpkin to take home in time for Halloween. We’ve also got arts & crafts activities kindly provided by Luton BID.

Spooky Storytelling in Hat Gardens

Friday 31 October | Shows at 2pm & 3pm | Hat Gardens, Bute Street

A Children’s Story is back in the town centre with captivating tales and engaging storytelling, this time with a spooky twist.

It’s Halloween – why not come along in fancy dress? Kids that do so will receive a small treat, while stocks last. Don’t miss out on sessions at 2pm & 3pm in Hat Gardens.

Trick & Treats at Luton Point

Monday 27 October to Friday 31 October | 11am to 4pm | Luton Point

Luton Point have a whole host of activities for the kids over the half-term holiday. Expect costume making, glittery ghostbusting and a slime-making workshop!

Be sure to take a wander through the spooky trail to explore the shopping centre on Halloween.

The Orange Picture Club

Various dates and times | Luton Library Theatre

Looking to watch some classic films this Halloween? The Orange Picture Club are bringing ‘Evil Dead 2’ and ‘The Descent’ to the big screen at Luton Library Theatre. The heart-warming ‘Frankenweenie’ is the perfect seasonal film for the family – check out dates and times.

If that isn’t enough for young film lovers, The Culture Trust are also screening ‘The Addams Family 2’ at the Hat Factory.

Halloween at Stockwood

Friday 31 October | 12.30pm to 1.30pm | Stockwood Discovery Centre

Even more creative activities for the little ones this half-term. Eerie arts, ghostly crafts and a terrifying trail awaits at Stockwood Park. Remember to book your space in advance.

Halloween Beer Festival

Thursday 30 October to Saturday 1 November | Bricklayers Arms

One of the town’s most beloved pubs is back with another beer festival.

Head to the Bricklayer’s Arms donning your best costumes for real ales & craft beers with three days of spooky entertainment lined up. Expect live music all weekend and prizes for best dressed.

Why not take part in High Town’s Halloween Trail whilst you’re there? You could even win one of Luton’s monopoly boards! Get started at Brown Books.

Creepy Carnival Halloween Party

Friday 31 October | 8pm to 3am | The Castle

For all lovers of live music in Luton, you won’t want to miss out on The Castle’s Halloween party. Playing is everyone’s favourite nu-metal & emo covers band, Thunderlips, with DJs carrying you through the night.

PS: they’re also playing at The Brickies the night before.
