Nobody does St Patrick’s Day like Luton, and this year there’s a whole host of events and activities to get involved with. Here are our top picks.
St Patrick’s Day Festival 2026
The main event on Saturday 14 March is of course the iconic St Patrick’s Day Festival and parade organised by Luton Irish Forum. Expect a full day of live entertainment in St George’s Square and Central Square of Luton Point, with a mix of live music, Irish dancing, and plenty of craic.
The festival main stage in St George’s Square will run from 10.30am to 4pm, and Irish dancing in Central Square of Luton Point from 11am to 3.35pm.

St Patrick’s Festival After Party & After D’After Party
Luton Irish Forum’s official after party is back and better than ever! They have a whole line-up of live performances from 3pm to 6pm across the different spaces in the Hat Factory, and even more in the Basement Bar from 6pm to 9pm, which is a ticket-holder only event.

St Patrick’s Day Party
If you’re in the mood for food, George II has you covered! They’ll be serving a full breakfast with Clonakilty sausages and pudding, a homemade Irish beef stew complete with soda bread, and they even have a special deal on Baby Guinness. Later in the evening they have an Irish dancing set followed by a live performance from The Fox Hat Band.

St Patrick’s Day Parade Party
If you fancy a break from the festivities, The Castle is bringing live music, homemade Irish food and loads of Guinness and Murphy’s on tap. Local Irish bands Missing The Ferry and Chamberlane will take the stage, plus a range of DJs, and an afternoon performance from The Walshe Academy of Irish Dancing.

Mother’s Day x St Patrick’s Day special
If you’re still raring to go after all the Saturday events, and your mum loves a bit of Irish music, The Gardeners Call will be serving up more live music from Missing The Ferry. Make sure you get down early, as this one is sure to be busy!
