You can buy a ticket via Ticketmaster by pressing the button below. Prices start at just £5 for 12 and under, and £10 for 13+, making it one of the most affordable classical music events in the area!

There are a range of ticket types available, including VIP, family tickets and accessible tickets.

This event will be popular so make sure you grab a ticket soon before they sell out!

This event has been made possible through headline sponsorship by Luton Council’s airport company, Luton Rising.

General information

  • There is no re-admission to Proms in the Park Luton after entry. Please plan ahead because once you’re in, you’re in!
  • For this event, you may bring in picnic blankets, camping chairs or other small forms of seating. However, no large golf umbrellas are permitted. Seating is also in the VIP area and Accessible Zone. Please note that you cannot bring these into the event on Saturday 12 September, Party in the Park.
  • You may also bring in a small picnic, including drinks and food. Each guest 18 years or older may bring up to 4 sealed cans of alcohol, or 1 sealed bottle of still or sparkling wine. Bottles with corks, and corkscrews, will not be allowed in. We do ask audience members to not drink to excess and anyone engaging in behaviour that is deemed by our security staff to be unreasonably impacting others or is dangerous will be told to leave.

  • Buggies & pushchairs are not permitted, except for those holding accessible tickets where the ticket holder needs it. 
  • Challenge 25
    If you are lucky enough to look under 25, we may ask you to prove your age when entering the event or when attempting to buy alcohol as part of our Challenge 25 Alcohol Policy.
    Any one of the following is considered an acceptable form of ID:
    1. Passport (not a photocopy). Foreign passports are acceptable if in suitable condition and include a photograph.
    2. Full or provisional photo card driving license issued by the DVLA.
    3. Proof Of Age Card – The card must be part of the PASS scheme and carry their hologram.
    If you are under 18 you are committing an offence if you attempt to buy alcohol. Similarly, anyone purchasing alcohol for someone under 18 is committing an offence.
  • Animals, with the exception of assistance dogs, are not permitted at any time at the event.
  • Smoking cigarettes (or electronic cigarettes) is not permitted in indoor bars and venues. Please dispose of your cigarette butts responsibly.
  • Illegal and antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated and will lead to ejection from the event. For the safety of all our visitors, crowd surfing and moshing are prohibited.
  • Air horns, selfie sticks, spray cans, Chinese lanterns, dangerous or hazardous weapons/items, fireworks, flags (on poles), gas canisters, hand held communication devices such as radios, radio jammers/scanners and the like; high-viz, klaxons and other similar items capable of making loud noise, laser pens, drones, pyrotechnics, racist, xenophobic, political and religious propaganda materials, signs or inappropriate branded items, weapons, explosives, knives or anything that could be adopted for use as a weapon, promotional or commercial objects or materials, mechanical or electronic sound-emitting devices, such as megaphones, scooters, skateboards and bicycles (except in designated parking areas) are prohibited, and any other items which we consider to be unsafe or pose a risk to public safety and/or security.

General

Doors open at 4.30pm. Please make sure to check your ticket to see if you need to enter before a certain time. 

Last entry is at 7pm. We recommend arriving when the doors open to experience the full day of fun.

No, unauthorised professional photography or filming equipment is strictly prohibited. Your bags will be searched upon entry to the event and cameras will be permitted at the security team’s discretion, so if in doubt don’t bring it!

Rain or shine, we’re celebrating Luton’s history together. Ponchos will be available to be purchased, or not (if you’re brave). Only in extreme weather circumstances, the event may be cancelled, or postponed. If this is the case, those that have purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will receive information on refunds.

There will be no public camping at Stockwood Park.

Accessibility and inclusivity

Yes! Accessible tickets are available for those who need them, which will grant them admission to the accessible viewing platform, as well as a free ticket for a carer.

Yes there is an accessible viewing area for those who have purchased an accessible ticket.

It is available for those that have purchased an accessible ticket, and you will not need to purchase a parking space for this. You may be asked to show the accessible ticket to park in one of these spaces, but you will not need to bring a Blue Badge.

  • Benefit Award Letters: Recent documentation showing current entitlement to Personal Independence Payment (PIP), Disability Living Allowance (DLA), or Attendance Allowance.

  • Blue Badges: Photo of a valid Blue Badge, which is widely recognized as physical proof of mobility needs.
  • Carer’s Allowance: Documentation confirming you receive carer payments, often used to validate the need for a complimentary companion or personal assistant.
  • The Access Card (UK): A widely recognized photo ID that translates your specific barriers and requirements into easy-to-understand symbols.
  • GP or Specialist Letter: A recent, signed, and stamped letter from a doctor, occupational therapist, or consultant.
  • Special Needs Forms: Example; Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) evidence form.
  • Care Plans: Formalized care plans or occupational health reports.
  • Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP): Comprehensive documents legally detailing your educational, health, and social care needs.
  • Diagnostic Reports: Official psychological or educational diagnostic reports (such as those confirming a learning disability or neurodivergence) that specify required accommodations.

Travel and parking

This event is being held at Stockwood Park, one of Luton’s Green Flag award-winning open spaces. The What3Words for the entrance are: ///Breath.Filled.Giant

Parking is available to be booked as an add-on to your ticket. You will not be able to park at the venue without this. Spaces are limited so make sure to book your parking as soon as possible. A maximum of 1 parking space per booking are available. The car park will open at 2pm, half an hour before the festival doors open.

It is available for those that have purchased an accessible ticket, and you will not need to purchase a parking space for this. You may be asked to show the accessible ticket to park in one of these spaces, but you will not need to bring a Blue Badge.

Luton Council are encouraging ticket holders to travel sustainably where possible (include bus route and travel partner here). Parking will be available on site for those that have paid for access, but this is limited. Please see the Luton Council website for information about road closures and traffic disruptions.

There is no special Luton resident discount for this event.

Due to the nature of this event, we have designed it for all ages! Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (over 18). Anyone bringing alcohol into the venue will be asked to show proof of age under the Challenge 25 rules stipulated above. We do ask audience members to not drink to excess and anyone engaging in behaviour that is deemed by our security staff to be unreasonably impacting others or is dangerous will be told to leave. The VIP area is only for those 18 years old and over. Whether they’re 2 or 102, grab a ticket and join the biggest party of the year!

Luton Council have subsidised this event as much as possible to make it affordable, there is not a free ticket allocation for residents who live near Stockwood Park. Luton Council may also run competitions with free tickets as prizes, so please keep an eye on our social media for more information.

Yes, no tickets will be available to buy on the door, so please make sure to buy your tickets in advance.

You will receive your ticket shortly after purchase from Ticketmaster or Universe. If you do not receive this, please contact luton150enquiries@luton.gov.uk.

Your ticket will be sent via email. It will come as a PDF attachment, or you can add the ticket to your phone’s digital wallet. Please note that if you do not print off your ticket, you will need to bring your phone with you to gain entry.

You can print your ticket at one of Luton’s libraries for free, or see if local shops around you offer printing services. Information about printing services at Luton Libraries can be found by clicking here.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds if you are no longer able to attend the event. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions at the time of purchase.

Once tickets have been purchased, event planning and operational costs are committed based on attendance numbers. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or family member, provided they meet any applicable age or entry requirements.

Upgrading to a VIP ticket allows you fast-track access to the arena’s premium bar, a private VIP chill-out area with exclusive food vendors, private flushing toilets, seating, a VIP lanyard and a separate viewing area close to the side of the stage. Ooh la la.

Refunds are not available for this event, but you can resell your ticket through a third-party site (TicketSwap) or to a friend.

The VIP area is restricted to guests aged 18 and over. This policy is in place to support responsible alcohol management, ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, and maintain the premium hospitality experience associated with the VIP offering. Families and younger attendees remain welcome within the main festival arena.

Artist, bands and lineup

The event will feature performances from the Luton Youth Percussion Orchestra, Luton Youth Funk Band, and many more talented ensembles. The evening will culminate in a special performance by the Luton Music Service Proms Symphony Orchestra, featuring current musicians alongside alumni for a unique celebration of Luton’s musical talent. The full line-up will be announced in due course. Event programme lanyards will be available to purchase from merchandise stands.

If you are separated from your child or a vulnerable adult you are attending the event with, please report this immediately to security, a steward or an Information Point where the event staff will assist.

We advise parents and carers to ensure their children have a contact mobile phone number on a paper wristband or on their person.

There will be a first aid tent on site. Please find a member of staff or security and let them know as soon as possible.

Yes, there will be a fireworks finale fired off to the left hand side of the stage and from behind the stage, unless circumstances beyond our control on the day prevent this. The fireworks will be a low-noise display.
